Rope Access Silo & Confined Space Cleaning

Our Confined Space services are built around our vast knowledge of  Rope Access Cleaning,
Rope Access Inspection and Rope Access Maintenance to Silos, Ducting and Shafts.

Our technicians are experienced and qualified in working in the most hostile of Confined Space environments. Our technicians are fully trained in confined space entry, egress and rescue.

All projects are subject to a detailed site survey, where risk assessments and method statements are supplied as a matter of due process conforming to the Confined Space Regulations 1997.

Equipment....Our technicians are fully trained in the use of air monitors.....We use Drager X-AM2000 personal monitors..Prior and during entry our technicians constantly test for Oxygen levels, Carbon Monoxide levels, Hydrogen Sulphide and LEL’s such as Methane.

Lighting

We use a variety of lighting dependent on the situation....most of our situations are EX or IP areas, therefore requiring both ATEX and IP rated equipment.

We use a mixture of Petzl EX headtorches and Wolflite Inspection / Lifelites

For our main EX lighting we use for internal inspection of shafts and ducting slam hornet lighting

PPE

The Confined Spaces Act of 1997 and the PUWER Act of 1998.

At Complete Access we ensure that our employees that are engaged in entering a Confined Space are trained to do so and have suitable work equipment to enter that working environment and carry out the task safely.

We have started cleaning & maintenance to a number of silo today. The works consist of de-scaling a build up of flour to the walls of the silo's, inspection & cleaning of blast vents & covers..... all of which is being carried out using our Rope Access Confined Space Team.

Rope Access Window Cleaning Cardiff

We are half way through our quarterly Rope Access Window Clean to a large development in Cardiff.

The site consists of 5 buildings 14, 8, 6 ,8, 8 storey buildings.

Access is directly from the roofs of the buildings,,,,,,,,, the buildings themselves have their problems to be cleaned......powered access isnt pheasable nor is reach and wash from the ground.....we abseil all buildings using traditional window cleaning and to parts with large overhangs ...we use 'reach & wash' whilst abseilling, we use Ionics Quattro portable system that is placed on the roof.

Rope Access Window Cleaning Birmngham

We have had a very busy week with a lot to organise.....but all good fun....

We have completed window cleaning tasks to various sites in Birmingham city centre using
Rope Access methods, Reach&Wash window cleaning and also using Cherry Pickers (MEWP's)....we also deployed our specialist Confined Space Access team to Yorkshire and if that wasnt enough, today, 2 of our guys had an onsite assessment to complete their City&Guilds level2 in Building & Support Services.....
