Rope Access Window Cleaning Cardiff

We are half way through our quarterly Rope Access Window Clean to a large development in Cardiff.

The site consists of 5 buildings 14, 8, 6 ,8, 8 storey buildings.

Access is directly from the roofs of the buildings,,,,,,,,, the buildings themselves have their problems to be cleaned......powered access isnt pheasable nor is reach and wash from the ground.....we abseil all buildings using traditional window cleaning and to parts with large overhangs ...we use 'reach & wash' whilst abseilling, we use Ionics Quattro portable system that is placed on the roof.

If your organisation has a problem with access for window cleaning and maintenance....please visit our website

Rope Access Confined Space Cleaning & De-scale

We deployed a 4 man team to Yorkshire today to carry out a clean & de-scale to a large storage hopper all using Rope Access methods.

Our team initially had to clean the hopper prior to de-scaling using angle grinders with 40 grit flap discs attached. All of our technicians have been trained in the selection & installation of discs on an Abrasive Wheels training course ......this conforms to PUWER 1998 Regulation 9.

All works were carried out in accordance with the Confined Space Regulations 1997.....which includes provision of site specific risk assessments and method statements and provision and use of appropriate PPE.

Rope Access Drainage Clearance for BT

We have completed high level drainage clearance for BT today.......the 4th floor was suffering water ingress due to a flooded balcony which contained a number of drains.
We deployed 2 Rope Access Techs to carry out the works..... which consisted of descending down 2 floors, de-rigging pigeon netting that enclosed the drainage balcony, entering the balcony and removing silt and debris from the blocked drainage system.......on completion of this our technicians
re-applied hogg rings back on to the netting system.

We are the preferred contractor to carry out works @ height for Monteray on behalf of BT....our working relationship has been ongoing since 2002
